Graduate of New York University and later a Canton bank head. Chung was ruined by the present Sino-Chinese war. A woman associate was arrested when a quantity of opium was found hidden in a false trunk bottem when she arrived by steamer. Search for Chung resulted in his indictment by a federal grand jury.
