Ontvangst in november 1785 van het gezantschap van Kandy door gouverneur Van de Graaff en een gezelschap hoge VOC-beambten met centraal de modlia of tolk Nicolas Dias Abayasinha Amarasekera. De ontvangstruimte is in potlood geschetst. De opschriften verwijzen naar de voorgestelde personen. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 1 (1808), p. 13 [militairen in dienst van de koning van Kandy].
