Kleurtekening van een aantal soorten vogels, 'loeri's' en een kakatoe. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 1 (1808), p. 87.

inscription: ‘Ambonsche vogels / Dit is de regte Loeri zo groot als een duyf Psittacus domicella ß ... / Loeri Psittacus domicella a ... / Psittacus garrulus mouccensis. andere Loeri zo groot als een duyf / Psittacus sulphureus Gemeene Kakatoe wat grooter als een Loeri deze kon spreeken en fluyten op boeginees heet hy tjakelé / Psittacus ruberi [?] / Dora klynder soort van Loeries / Psittacus haematodus. a / Ambonsche Vogels die ik leevendig gehad heb, geteekend den 30 october 1784.’
