Kleurtekening van een net gevangen olifant in een bamboe raamwerk tussen twee bomen. Het hoofd van de olifant is los en met een touwtje aan het papier genaaid zodat het kan draaien. Met opschrift. Nr 13 in serie. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 117.

inscription: ‘stal voor een nieuws gevangen olifant, onder med een vloer van hout daar de olifant op staat. 2 binnenste palen staan digter by een als de andere & onder med balken belegt.’
