Kleurtekening van de open galerij aan het huis van de tekenaar Jan Brandes met twee stoelen. Op de vloer tussen het speelgoed (houten paard en karbouw) zitten zoon Jantje en Bietja, een tot slaaf gemaakt meisje. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 5.
