On July 1, the Rijksmuseum will celebrate and commemorate the abolition of slavery during Keti Koti. To mark this occasion, we invite you to pick up a free Heri Heri meal in the Rijksmuseum gardens and celebrate Keti Koti with us.

Keti Koti is Sranantongo for ‘the chain is cut’. On this day, the Rijksmuseum will be handing out Free Heri Heri (Surinamese soul food meals) from 12-14h in the Rijksmuseum Gardens. Free Heri Heri is an initiative of, and partnership with, Kip Republic.
