What is your festival? With this question in mind, students from secondary education and MBO (vocational) explored the concept for Document Netherlands Junior. The result is showcased in this gallery. The exhibition features the work of nine nominees from the Netherlands and the Caribbean.

Due to age restrictions and high costs, festivals are not always accessible to young people. However, the photo series reveal that the festival feeling is a broad concept. For some, it involves the excitement of going out, while others experience the festival feeling in nature or simply in their own bedroom.
