Heineken has committed to sponsor the Rijksmuseum for a period of six years. From its beginnings in Amsterdam 140 years ago, today the Heineken brand is known the world over and is the largest international premium beer brand. It is also the preferred beer supplier of the Rijksmuseum, where it is served in the Atrium café, the café in the Philips Wing and in the new RIJKS restaurant. With a total seating capacity of 500, guests visiting the museum from near and far can come here to enjoy the café’s select or restaurant’s extensive menu of locally sourced products. Plus, tucked away in the garden will be one of the most beautiful terraces in all Amsterdam, seating around 100, where Heineken beer will also be served 365 days a year to an anticipated two million visitors.
