Opzetstang voor een 16 cm getrokken kanon, bestaande uit een ijzeren staaf met pyramidevormige top, waarop een korte horizontale staaf met oculair aan het uiteinde is bevestigd. De horizontale staaf kan zowel verticaal als horizontaal ingesteld worden. De verticale staaf is onderverdeeld in 600 mm, de horizontale in 100 mm. Schaal 1:1.

Tangent sight for a 16-cm rifled gun, consisting of an iron bar with a top in the shape of a pyramid, to which a horizontal bar is attached with a round ocular at the end. The horizontal bar can slide up and down and also be adjusted in the horizontal plane. The vertical bar spans 600 mm, the horizontal bar 100 mm.

This sight was for a 16-cm rifled gun. The projectiles of rifled guns deviate because of their rotation; the deviation could be corrected with this sight.

Scale 1:1.
