Papajaboom, rechtzoekenden bij de Dessave en een 'hennikap' of vrije bediende te Colombo

Drie tekeningen. Een papajaboom. Een rij inwoners in afwachting van rechtspraak door de Dessave. De 'vrije bediende' is in het wit gekleed en draagt zijn haar in een knot links op het hoofd. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 1 (1808), p. 16.
