Kleurtekening. Gezicht van het dorp Wehl 'een uur gaans' van Doetinchem. Een onverharde weg naar de kerk met aan weerszijden huizen. Op de voorgrond spelende kinderen en een vrouw met kruiwagen. Achter staan twee mannen en twee soldaten. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 1 (1808), p. 23.

inscription: ‘gezigt van het Dorp Wehl in de heerlykheid Wehl in Cleefsland, een uur gaans van de stad Doetinchem in gelderland, geteekend Aº 1775.’
