Kleurtekening van de herberg op de hoogte van Montferland met naaste omgeving van tuin met groenten. De herberg is in vakwerk en heeft een rieten dak. Voor de herberg twee huifkarren. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 35 en zie p. 34.
