Guild chain of a guild of Saint Anthony

On this chain’s pendant breast plate is an image of Saint Anthony Abbot, who is identifiable from his attributes: a book, a staff, flames and a pig. Gilded figures in the chain itself refer to hunting. It is not known from which town the chain came.

    Gildeketen bestaande uit veertien schakels, elk gevormd door twee opengewerkte, gekrulde bladeren, waartussen vergulde figuren: een jager, een hond, een hert en een vogel. Aan de ketting hangt een concaaf gebogen borstplaat, waarop een verguld, gegoten beeldje van St. Antonius Abt, met boek, staf, vlammen en varken. De plaat heeft een omranding, die langs binnen- en buitenkant is afgezet met een kabel, waartussen telkens drie vergulde bloemrozetten zijn bevestigd.
