Guéridon and Candelabrum

Elegant wood guéridons were placed on either side of a mirror to serve as stands for a candelabrum. The reflected candlelight added lustre to the room, often further accentuated by the gleaming gilt frame of the mirror.

    Kandelaar van porselein met een gelobde, ronde voet, gelaagde steel en cilindrische kaarshouder, beschilderd in onderglazuur blauw en op het glazuur blauw, rood, roze, groen, geel, bruin, zwart en goud. De kandelaar is versierd met een 'tobacco leaf'-patroon van grote bladeren, bloemtakken en vogels. Europese vormen met emailkleuren.
