Flower Field

Chizuko Yoshida continued working into old age, experimenting extensively with new techniques. In this print, Yoshida combined woodcut and etching techniques. The whimsical black lines of the flowers are etched, while the colours were applied by hand to wooden blocks and then printed on the paper.
