Blackwork Designs for Gold- and Silversmiths

This design could be used for the back of a portrait medallion, as well as a watchcase. The blackwork ornament has three variations on the same theme and also evidences the beginnings of a stylized naturalistic style that would develop in 1620-1640. The four designs for rings just fit on the page.
