Zwartwittekening van vier heren die rond een tafel zitten met pijp en drank. Drie van hen dragen avondmutsen, éen heeft zijn pruik nog op. Achter de tafel staat en voor de tafel zit een bediende. Iets terzijde is de vrouwentafel waaraan twee Indo-(Europese) vrouwen zitten. Op de tafel de sirih-doos. Op de grond een dienster. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 12.
