Armchair. Walnut, carved with the arms of Holland, Zeeland and West-Friesland, upholstered with velvet. Netherlands, probably The Hague, c. 1750. The armchair probably served as the seat of the president of the Court of the provinces Holland, Zeeland and West-Friesland at The Hague.

    Armstoel van notenhout, bekleed met groen fluweel. De poten zijn verbonden door een H-vormig kruis. De voorzitregel is geschulpt en versierd met bladvoluten en een rocailleschelp. De armleggerstutten zijn versierd met bladvoluten, de armleggers met een rocaille-cartouche en acanthusblad. De hoge rug heeft een opzetstuk met de gekroonde wapens van Zeeland, Holland en W.-Friesland. De bekleding is met koperen nagels bevestigd. Afkomstig uit het Hof van Holland, Zeeland en W.-Friesland (presidentszetel ?).
