Apothecary bottle with Lucretia

Flesvormige apothekersfles van veelkleurig beschilderde majolica. De vaas heeft twee driehoekige, getordeerde oren. Langs de onderrand van de buik is een banderolle geschilderd met opschrift: aqua boraginis (Water van Bernagie) in gotische letters. Daarboven, op een driehoekig veld van geel en blauw, een borstbeeld van Lucretia die zichzelf de doodsteek geeft. De voorstelling wordt omlijst door een brede baan met ranken op blauw. Bovenaan de hals een blauw en witte palmet op oranje; langs de bovenrand oranje ranken op een blauwe baan. Op de achterkant zijn schetsmatige ranken in blauw geschilderd.
