Allegorische voorstelling op de geboorte van Willem Frederik (1772-1843), prins van Oranje-Nassau, de latere koning Willem I. Rechts zit de Nederlandse Maagd bij een oranjeboom, aan haar voeten ligt de Nederlandse Leeuw met pijlenbundel. Vanuit de hemel, met het oog van God, daalt een jongetje op een lichtbundel naar de aarde, links zit een putto met een lauwerkrans.

inscription: ‘Den hemel schenkt ons nog dit geluk. Den 24 Augustus 1772.’
