• inscription: ‘Batavische Witte mieren maaken ... en bederven de huizen. Fermay orda.
  Deze groote soort bederven ook het gezaaijde aan de Caap de G. H. in de velden, ik heb ze aldaar gevonden den 5 sept 1786 aan de kaap de goede hoop’
