Twee kleurtekeningen en een schets van octopusachtige kleine schelpdieren. Met opschriften. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 1 (1808), p. 238.

• inscription: ‘Tepeltjes door een microscop getekend, zo als de ze[e] katjes aan haare vingers hebben om eren aan vast te kleeven.’
• inscription: ‘Gorita 1 voet lang grysagtig, maar anders zo als de tjummi tjummi nagezien maji 21. 1785. 3 gekogt om te eeten. Daar zyn zulke groote dat zy een Javasche praauw (schip) kunnen doen omslaan, als zy daar aan kleeven.’
• inscription: ‘op de buyk. haar rug is hard als balyn met een week vel daar oover. zeekatje of tjummi tjummi heeft zwartagtig bloed, zyn goed te eeten.’
• inscription: ‘Tjummi tjummi of zeekatje waare groote. Sepia Loligo.’
• inscription: ‘ik zag den 20 Aug 1778 zeekatje rond waar in het zeeschuym zit is blaauwer van couleur als de lange soort.’
