OPERATION NIGHT WATCH
Rembrandt's masterpiece is currently on display in a glass chamber while researchers carry out the most extensive study in the painting's history.
Operation Night Watch is the largest and most extensive research and restoration project of Rembrandt's masterpiece ever. The painting is almost 400 years old and therefore needs the best possible care so that people can continue to enjoy it in the future.
