Win a year’s free admission to the Rijksmuseum

General information

  • These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) apply to the ‘Win a year’s free admission to the Rijksmuseum’ promotional competition (‘Competition’) organized by the Rijksmuseum, Hobbemastraat 20, 1071 CZ Amsterdam.
  • By participating in the Competition, participants declare that they have read and accepted said Terms. The Competition and Terms are governed by Dutch law.
  • In any matters not covered by the Terms, the decision of the Rijksmuseum will be final and binding.
  • The Rijksmuseum reserves the right to terminate the promotion at any time or to change the rules, Prize, Promotion terms, conditions or information at its own discretion and without prior notice, without the Rijksmuseum being liable to compensate participants and/or winners in any way as a result. If this occurs, it will be communicated on the Rijksmuseum website.
  • No correspondence can be entered into regarding the results of the Competition.

Participation

  • The Competition will be open for participation from 20 December 2023 to 31 December 2023, inclusive.
  • Participation in the Competition is open to everyone aged 18 and over. Employees of the Rijksmuseum are excluded from participation.
  • Participants in the Competition will not incur costs.

Competition mechanism

  • Participants are required to complete the Competition form to be eligible to win a prize.
  • A draw will select 10 winners. Winners will be notified by email from the Rijksmuseum. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected by lottery.

Prize

  • The total value of the prize package is €750. The prize per winner is a Friendship or NEXT membership for 2 people worth €75, which grants free admission to the State Museum for one year (''the Prize'').
  • After the first year, it is possible to extend or discontinue the Friendship for a fee of €75.
  • The Prize is not redeemable for cash value or other products.
  • The Rijksmuseum will contact each winner individually in January 2024.
