In the 1970s it became possible for increasingly greater numbers of people to travel great distances super-fast by aeroplane. Bruna shows just how remarkable that was in this advertising poster for KLM. The winged traveller has to hold on to his hat, suggesting speed. The solid light blue background represents the infinite air space.
