Vrouwen op appèl in Ravensbrück. Stonden de vrouwen eenmaal, dan mochten zij niet meer weg. Iemand gooit nog snel schoenen toe. Toen het gestreepte gevangenisgoed op was, werden op de jurken rode kruizen genaaid. De stof achter het kruis werd weggeknipt, om vluchten tegen te gaan. Als je het kruis eraf haalde, viel de kleding uiteen.
