Een meisje wacht, met de handen in de zakken, voor de bunker, zoals de strafgevangenis werd genoemd, waar ze zal worden gemarteld. Aat Breur had dit haar onbekende meisje zo zien staan, had het beeld in haar hoofd geprent en het zodra ze kon op haar brits driehoog getekend.
