This table would typically have been placed against a wall, with a mirror above it, and candle stands on either side. It was often paired with a matching cabinet decorated with flowers made of different coloured woods. This coordinated design created unity in the interior.

    Tafel geheel belijmd met florale motieven, uitgevoerd in palissander-, satijn-, olijve-, amboina-, ahorn- en andere houtsoorten en been op een eikenhouten kern. Het meubel rust op vier S-vormige poten, die door een dubbel Y-vormig kruis met een ovaal middenstuk verbonden zijn, dat op bolpoten rust. De hoekstijlen dragen een geprofileerde basis. Aan de voorzijde een lade. Het blad vertoont een bloemenvaas op een voetstuk, rustend op twee afgewende dolfijnen. Uit hun muilen komen blad- en bloemranken voort.
