Verkleumde straatadverteerder op een besneeuwd trottoir met in zijn rechterhand een groot bord "Prachtige winterjassen sterk goedkoop". Links staat een heer in winterjas met hoge hoed naar hem te kijken. Op de achtergrond veel mensen op een besneeuwd plein. Op een apart stukje papier: Hedendaagsche verdraagzaamheidsmuziek / Een "lied zonder woorden" op de maat van honger en kou.
