Footed dish

anonymous, c. 1550 - c. 1575

Various parts could be combined to create a complex object. This broad dish, for instance, consists of five elements joined together by means of a mount. The heads were originally made of enamelled silver. With the rest of the mount, they were later translated into gold.

    Pronkschaal op voet van bergkristal met montuur van goud met email. De ovale bak heeft aan een einde van de lange zijde een schelpvormige overkapping. In het midden twee vrouwelijke hermen.
