Russisch meisje, slapend naast de barak. Achter haar zit een vrouw in de verte te staren. De gevangenen moesten in de tijd dat ze niet werkten of op appèl stonden zo zuinig mogelijk met hun energie omgaan. De Russin komt uit Auschwitz; dit is te zien aan de tatoeage op haar arm. In Ravensbrück werden geen nummers op de arm getatoeëerd.
