In een landschap met op de achtergrond bergen lopen achter elkaar: een kleine man met een stok over de rechterschouder; een oude man met rechterarm in mitella en met wandelstok; een dikke vrouw; een dikke man in korte broek met naast zich een jongen met in zijn rechterhand een dolk, en in de linker een po; een oude man op krukken.
