In een cafe zitten drie mannen en een vrouw aan een tafeltje te kaarten. Op de achtergrond staat achter de bar de barkeeper glazen te drogen. Rechts op de voorgrond speelt een man op een accordeon en zingt daarbij. Links op de voorgrond ligt een hond.

Een invalide muzikant speelt in een café in de Pijp. Hij hoort dat er een razzia aan de gang is (nr. 8). Hij gaat naar huis en verstopt zich (nr. 9).
