Rode fluit met geel mondstuk ligt in twee zwarte metalen vorkjes, die in een grijs geverfde houten plank staan. Naast de fluit is op de plank een dubbel formulier geplakt met twee maal hetzelfde opschrift: XXe eeuw / 1969 / PLASTIC FLUIT / Gebruikt tijdens bezetting Nachtwachtzaal Rijksmuseum / Geel en rood plastic / Geschenk Actiecomitè BBK, 12 juni 1969 / maten: lang 30 cm. Het geheel omvat door een doorzichtige plastic doos, die met vier schroefjes aan de plank is bevestigd.
