Zeeslag bij Elseneur in de Sont tussen de Hollandse en de Zweedse vloot, 8 november 1658. Tussen de oorlogsschepen verschillende sloepen en wrakken van gezonken schepen. Op de achtergrond kasteel Kronborg.

• signature and date, with initials, bottom centre, on the spar: ‘P.V[…]16[..]’
• inscription, lower left, on the tafferel of the ship: ‘HET.SCHIP.DE.EEN.DRACHT.’
