De 38-jarige Catharina Behaghel is frontaal afgebeeld, gezeten in een brede leunstoel en met een gesloten waaier in de rechterhand. Zij draagt een zwart zijden kleed met een witte molenkraag en een vlieger, een manteltje met loshangende mouwen. Zij draagt parelsnoeren om de hals en de polsen en een bergkristallen medaillon op de borst. De achtergrond wordt afgesloten door een halfronde nis, waarvoor een rood gordijn hangt, rechts wordt het portret begrensd door een vrouwelijke herme. Tot hetzelfde ensemble behoort het portret van haar echtgenoot Rogier Le Witer (SK-A-4971) en het portret van zijn moeder Magdalena de Cuyper (SK-A-4973).
