Collection Online is made possible in part by:
KPN
KPN
has been a main sponsor of the Rijksmuseum since it reopened in 2013. KPN provides ongoing support to make our art treasures accessible for everyone, particularly online.
The Rijksmuseum aspires to be a state-of-the-art cultural institution and leader in innovation both in the Netherlands and beyond. KPN is making it possible. As well as annual funding, KPN supplies all telecom, data and ICT services for the Rijksmuseum.
Mondriaan Fund
The
Mondriaan Fund
is the public grant fund for visual arts and cultural heritage in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. The fund supports
Collectie Online
for its innovative use of AI models to identify visual similarities within the collection. This approach enables the Rijksmuseum to empower a wide audience to create their own stories using the collection.
Neo4j
Collection Online makes use of
Neo4J's Graph Database
to organize and analyse complex datastructures. This technology makes it possible to manage multiple connections between single datapoints. Graph Database technology is an essential part of the search- and recommendation engine of Collection Online.
Rijksmuseum Fonds
The Rijksmuseum thanks the private benefactors who have contributed to the development of Collection Online via the Rijksmuseum Fonds, the support foundation of the Rijksmuseum: Steven Schuurman, the Meijer Family, the Rijksmuseum International Circle and those who wish to remain anonymous.
