Create a collar
Workshop
The stylish ladies and gentlemen in Frans Hals' portraits all wore them: beautiful white collars. During the May break, you can also create your own collar: 17th-century hip!
Did you know that some pleated collars you see in paintings consisted of up to 15 meters of fabric? They were super expensive. But lace collars were also très chic. Just take a look at the portraits in the Frans Hals exhibition. Cut, fold, or build, and don't forget to capture your final creation in a photo!
