Insect Lab

This lab is all about insects and doing research

You are going to do research like they did in the old days: with your eyes! With the help of a magnifying glass, you will see the most beautiful details: shiny wings, thin legs, shiny shields and much more. You will then record this in your own way.

You look, describe what you see, and record your acquired knowledge in a drawing with special metallic paint. Just like the artists did that you can see in the exhibition Crawly Creatures.

This workshop is inspired by Janouk Kelderman, known from children’s television programs "Klokhuis" and "Zapp” and ambassador of WWF.

We currently allow a maximum of 15 people per booking of which 5 tickets for visitors up to 18 years old. Book a school visit or a group visit.
