Join our art educators for a variety of hands-on workshops.

• Botanical Drawing

• Cyanotype Printing (Blueprint)

• Embroidery

• Soap Sculptures

• Architecture Drawing Masterclass (starts at 12:30, 14:00, and 15:30)

Most workshops start every half hour and last approximately 30 minutes. Each workshop has a limited capacity, so you may occasionally need to wait in line or return at a quieter time. The Architecture Drawing Masterclass starts at fixed times. Please reserve your spot upon arrival.

GUIDED TOURS

Learn more about the craftsmanship and symbolism of the Rijksmuseum building, the museum gardens, or the sculptures of artist Carel Visser during guided tours of approximately 60 minutes. Reserve a place upon arrival. Each tour is offered multiple times throughout the day.

HIKAYAT TEA

Looking for more than just a refreshing drink? Enjoy one of Hikayat’s iced teas or mocktails while learning more about tea, the museum, and each other.

FOOD and DRINKS

Grab a drink at the bar or a bagel from the BagelBoy stand.

PERFORMANCES

Throughout the day, a jazz trio led by saxophonist Joep Grotendorst will perform live. There will also be a Silent Poetry performance, combining poetry and music.

TICKETS

With your ticket, you will receive a wristband upon arrival. This gives you access to workshops, guided tours, and activities throughout the day. Your ticket also includes admission to the museum.
