The Seven Works of Mercy

The Seven Works of Mercy Master of Alkmaar (active 1490–1510), Alkmaar, 1504, oil on panel

As a good Christian, how do you help the needy? These seven panels show you how.

Christ also appears in them a few times. Can you see where?

Want to see the works in real life? Come visit the Rijksmuseum! We will be happy to tell you more about it there.
