This summer holiday, the Rijksmuseum and Disney invite families to enjoy a fun-filled programme of playful activities. Together with Woody and Buzz, the characters from the beloved Toy Story films, children and their families can explore the museum and discover the world of toys through the ages. To celebrate the release of Toy Story 5 in Dutch cinemas, a wide range of activities will be on offer: from a Toy Story studio featuring the film's earliest sketches to a Toy Story pop-up cart where everyone can try a 17th-century game.

The Walt Disney Company Benelux and the Rijksmuseum

The Rijksmuseum offers a broad and accessible public programme designed to inspire families and children. Previous successful collaborations with The Walt Disney Company Benelux celebrated the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company and the 90th anniversary of Donald Duck. Disney has extended its partnership with the Rijksmuseum for a further three years, continuing to bring art and history to life for young visitors through play and imagination. In the years ahead, the two partners will continue to develop programmes that bring together art, the magic of Disney and a sense of wonder for the whole family.
