Gift ideas for the festive season
The Rijksmuseum works with a variety of partners to create many of its products – all of them inspired by masterspieces in our collection. Read on for some amazing gift ideas:
- BORO*Atelier has upcycled the velvet curtains used for the Vermeer exhibition to create unique bags, cases and cushions.
- The catalogue for the Frans Hals exhibition, opening in spring 2024, will already be available from early December 2023.
- We release new Rijksmuseum Christmas ornaments each year. This year we took inspiration from Vermeer’s The Milkmaid, Bruegel’s The Tower of Babel and a tulip by Jacob Marrel.
- The Nijntje for Peace figure designed by Irma Boom (on display in the Rijksmuseum Gardens since 2015) is now also available as a Christmas ornament, mini bag or picture postcard.
