Explanatory note

  • Dergelijke prenten stonden bekend als 'zwartjes'. Men verkreeg ze bij aanschaf van bepaalde merken thee, cacao, sigaretten, beschuit, etc. om te verzamelen. Er waren speciaal voor de 'zwartjes' vervaardigde verzamelalbums in omloop.
