Kamisaka Sekka, 1910 - 1925

This simple writing box with lead and ceramic inlay is characteristic of the style of the designer Kamisaka Sekka. For this box he worked together with the ceramicist Tozan and the lacquer master Hyoetsu. Such collaboration was common among Rinpa artists.
