Lazarino Fortunato Cominazzo, c. 1665

Pair of flintlock pistols, made in Brescia (Italy), c. 1660-1670. The barrels are signed by Lazarino (Fortunato) Cominazzo, the most famous Brescian gunsmith of his day. The locks were made by Francesco Garatto.

    Bresciaanse pistool, deel van koppel, met vuursteenbatterijslot met bolle slotplaat en haan. Notenhouten lade met à jour bewerkt ijzeren beslag. De slotplaat is gesigneerd Fraco: Geratto Ba. De loop is aan de bovenzijde gesigneerd: Lazarino Cominazzo. Aan de onderzijde is een ingeslagen merk FG.
