In een vlak landschap bewonderen twee arbeiders de opkomst van zon van de Vrijheid. Rechts achter hen staat een wegwijzer, links van hen een opgaande zon. Op de keerzijde een schets van arbeiders die de zon groeten die met het woord 'Vrijheid' opkomt boven industrielandschap.
