Vier regenten en de binnenvader van het Tuchthuis te Middelburg, 1764. De regenten zitten aan een tafel waarop staan boeken, een inktstel en een tafelbel. Voorgesteld zijn: Samuel Radermacher (1693-1761), Johan Constant Mathias (overl. 1765), Anthony (?) de Schoesetter (geb. 1697/98), François de Kok (geb. 1696/97) en de binnenvader Cornelis van Loysen (geb. 1686/87).
