Vase

During the Han Dynasty ritual bronzes decreased in importance and pottery funerary objects took their place as grave goods. Such pottery greatly resembled its bronze prototypes and even imitated their handles. On the decorative band around the body of this vase is a hunting scene with leaping animals and hunters.

    Vaas van aardewerk, bedekt met een groen glazuur. Op de schouder een band met jachttaferelen met mens- en dierfiguren in reliëf. Hiertussen tweemaal een 'taotie'-masker met een ring.
