Tour
Salm, Frank van der, 2002
Paris has exerted an irresistible power of attraction on foreigners for more than a century. Thanks to the high-speed train line (HSL) that began running a few years ago, the city is within closer reach for the Dutch than ever before. From the Tour Montparnasse, Van der Salm photographed a sweeping view of Paris, one of the HSL’s major destinations. All of the dots of light are enlarged due to the blurriness of the shot.
